I have been discovering so many things about the state of Connecticut. It’s really an interesting place with such a variety of weather, lifestyle and landscape. An area that I have been getting to know a bit more is the Western Connecticut shoreline.
After this Summer’s many visits to Essex, CT, I decided that it would be good to do a little further exploring. I really like the water, so I decided to go further South and take a look at Old Saybrook, Madison and Branford. After giving these towns a quick once over, my eye kept going to Branford. I don’t know, there’s just something about it.
I must say, my curiosity is piqued. Who knew there were all those little islands down there (Thimble Islands)? You can spend an entire year just getting to know Connecticut’s coastal towns.
