HAHA. I have to say that MGJ does have some pretty forgiving runways at a very level 3600FT and 5500FT, but still, I'll take it. That's awesome about your forward slip"ness." I am not sure I will be doing too much of that. Yigal is not a big fan and that is a pretty wild maneuver. I suppose I should practice anyway. I'll get there. I CAN NOT wait for you to finish up. Congrats. Hey super pilot... when ya gonna come over here and try a REAL airport? Come grease it at 44N. It's ooh so easy on those big wide flat open strips. Comon and try one on a hill, in a valley and about half the size of MJE. ;-) Hey... don't get down on the radio thing. That was kinda a trick request. I got a 1.3hrs hrs solo in today. Got some GOOD Xwind landing practice. I think I finally have the forward slip down!. With about a 8-12kt cross wind gusts, I was able to keep'er lined up with the center line every time. Whew! I got a 1.3hrs hrs solo in today. Got some GOOD Xwind landing practice. I think I finally have the forward slip down!. With about a 8-12kt cross wind gusts, I was able to keep’er lined up with the center line every time. Whew! Was quite a work out. Glad I packed it in when I did (about 12:00) because it started gusting (xwind) to 18. yikes
